This dip is made with a packet of Knorr Vegetable Seasoning. It’s what gives this dip its fantastic flavor. Look for it at the market where they have all the seasoning envelopes; like taco seasoning, gravy mixes and the dry salad dressing mixes. If you can’t find it at the market do a search online and have it delivered.

Place thawed spinach in a colander and press out as much of the water as you can and place the spinach in a mixing bowl. Excess liquid will result in a runny, unappetizing dip so be sure to get rid of as much water from the thawed, frozen spinach as you can.

Drain and chop water chestnuts and slice green onions. Don’t skip the water chestnuts. They may not pack a lot of flavor but they give this dip a lovely crunch and some much needed texture.

Place sour cream, mayonnaise, vegetable seasoning mix, chopped water chestnuts, and sliced green onions in a bowl.

Stir well to combine.

Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours to allow flavors to develop.

Serve dip chilled with cubes of French bread and your favorite crackers and veggies to scoop up the dip.

If you want to get fancy, hollow out a round French bread boule. Cut up the bread that you removed from the inside of the loaf into bite sized chunks and serve the dip in the hollowed out loaf of bread. Whether you serve this tasty dip in a loaf of French bread or in a pretty bowl, this dip will be one of the first things to disappear at your next get together…guaranteed!
