Is there anyone out there that doesn’t love Brie cheese? Smooth and creamy and utterly delectable just as is, and when you bake it till it’s gooey and stretchy it’s even more delectably delicious! The only problem is when the temps soar into the triple digits the last thing anyone wants to do is turn on the oven. When you’ve got a wheel of Brie in the fridge you can still enjoy its creamy deliciousness without ever turning on the oven. Whip it, whip it good, instead! Whipping it produces a light as air, smooth as silk texture. Top it with crispy bacon bits, fresh herbs and a drizzle of honey and your mouth will be singing with joy.

Oh my, this appetizer is oh so very, very good! I garnished it with a couple of sun ripened cherry tomatoes from my garden that I cut in half and I tucked in a few sprigs of fresh rosemary to pretty it up. Not only was it utterly delicious, it looks so very pretty on the platter and it was one of the easiest appetizers I’ve ever whipped up! There’s a reason this whipped Brie has gone viral on social media…it’s DELICIOUS!
Instead of bacon and Rosemary, try it topped with some chopped nuts like pecans, almonds, or walnuts and fresh Thyme or chives for a different flavor profile and some texture that contrasts beautifully with the creamy cheese and serve with slices of crisp apples for a lovely fall flavor profile. Creamy cheese, crunchy nuts, sweet honey scooped up with tart apple slices…it’s making my mouth water just thinking about it. What about chopped pecans with a drizzle of maple syrup? Toasted almonds with a drizzle of Fig jam? The flavor combinations are endless, you are only limited by your imagination. This easy to make appetizer will definitely be making an appearance on my holiday table this fall. It’s easy to make, utterly delicious, and looks oh so pretty on the table too. The perfect appetizer for the holidays or anytime you get a hankering for Brie!
