How To Make Mediterranean Flat Bread:
Start by placing flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Stir to combine the dry ingredients.

Add the Greek yogurt to the bowl and combine it with the dry ingredients.

Use your hands until you have a sticky dough that holds together. Flour your hands if you have trouble with the dough sticking to them.

Dust your work surface with flour and turn the dough out onto prepared work surface.

This little flour duster/tea infuser device makes it so easy to dust your work surface with an even layer of flour. Dusting the top of a cake with powdered sugar or cocoa is a breeze too with this handy dandy little tool. It’s one of the best kitchen gadgets I’ve purchased in a long time. Shape the dough into a round disk and divide it into 8 equal sized pieces.

Roll each piece of dough into a ball with your hands, then roll out each ball of dough into a thin round with a rolling pin. I typically roll them out to about 8 inches in diameter when using them for gyros. The larger size makes it easy to hold meats and veggies. Roll them out a little smaller and a tad thicker when using them primarily for scooping dips such as Hummus or Tzatziki Sauce.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

This cast iron skillet is used more than any other pan in my arsenal. It’s my favorite pan and the perfect size to cook up this flatbread. It heats up nice and evenly so you always get stellar results! It’s the best $20 I ever spent.

When the oil is hot, fry each piece of flatbread until golden brown patches appear on the bottom, and large bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Flip and cook on the second side.

Repeat until all the dough is cooked, adding more olive oil to the skillet as needed. Serve warm.
