How To Make Oven Baked, Fall-Off-The-Bone, BBQ Ribs

Preheat oven to 325℉.

While the oven is preheating prepare the ribs for the oven. Rinse ribs under cold running water and pat them dry. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the rack of ribs. Use a paper towel to grab one end and gently pull it off. Discard the membrane. Removing the membrane is optional, but removing it produces more tender ribs.

Season all sides of the ribs liberally with BBQ seasoning of your choice.

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil. Place the foil wrapped rack of ribs (meaty side up) on a baking sheet.

Covering the baking sheet with foil makes clean up a breeze.

Bake ribs in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours. Check ribs for doneness after the first 2 hours. Bake until ribs are fork tender and the bones easily pull away from the meat.

My ribs were tender after 2.5 hours in the oven.

Remove foil and baste all sides of the ribs liberally with your favorite BBQ sauce.

Return ribs (meat side up) to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Turn oven temperature to “broil” and cook ribs for a couple more minutes until the BBQ sauce is bubbly and thickens. Keep an eye on it so the sauce doesn’t burn.

Remove from the oven and allow ribs to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Serve with a large stack of napkins.

Finger licking good!

This is by far the easiest method I have ever used to cook ribs. Not only is it super easy to cook these ribs up, but they taste absolutely FABULOUS!!! No running out to the grill to constantly check on them. No expensive smoker needed either. This oven method makes it extremely convenient to cook up some of the tastiest ribs you will ever enjoy with a minimum of effort. Pop them in the oven and relax while the oven does all the hard work for you.

Give these ribs a try, once you try them I’m betting they will be making an appearance at the table more often than not. You don’t have to wait for summer to enjoy delicious BBQ ribs. This recipe lets you enjoy them anytime you get a hankering for some juicy, tender, flavorful ribs with almost no effort. What are you waiting for? Go and make them now! You can thank me later.
