You Can Easily Make A Creamy, Frothy Cappuccino At Home

Calling all coffee lovers!!! No need to run to the coffee shop when you get a craving for a luscious, creamy Cappuccino. Nor do you need an expensive espresso machine to make a frothy cup. What if I told you that you only need five ingredients? Curious yet?

This make-at-home Cappuccino rivals what you purchase at the coffee shop. Rich, decadent, and creamy with the traditional frothy topping. It’s utterly delicious for just a few pennies per cup. What’s not to love about that?!?!

Start by gathering together the long list of ingredients…ha-ha! Sugar, vanilla and instant coffee granules.

Bring a cup of water to a boil.

Combine sugar, coffee granules, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.

Place whisk attachment onto mixer. Add boiling water.

Whisk together coffee granules, sugar, vanilla and boiling water on high speed. 

Whisk on high speed until liquid becomes light and frothy and it has doubled in volume. This will take several minutes. 

Mixture is done when it’s thick and frothy similar to whipped cream.

Store in an airtight container.

Some coffee liquid may settle and accumulate on the bottom of the container after a couple days. No worries, just add some of it along with the froth to the milk for a stronger cup of coffee.

To serve, fill a cup 2/3 full with hot milk. Add 1-2 heaping tablespoons of whipped coffee to hot milk. 

Stir and enjoy! Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

  • ¼ cup instant granulated coffee
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk, warmed
  • Cinnamon, optional

Instructions
 

  • Place whisk attachment onto mixer.
  • Whisk together coffee granules, sugar, vanilla and boiling water on high speed.
  • Whisk until liquid becomes light and frothy and it has doubled in volume. This will take several minutes.
  • Mixture is done when it's thick and frothy, with a consistency similar to whipped cream.
  • Store in an airtight container.
  • To serve, add 1-2 heaping tablespoons of frothed whipped coffee to warmed milk.
  • Stir and enjoy!
  • Top each cup with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
