I don’t know about you but we love Mexican food and I use a lot of taco seasoning. Buying it in those small single serving envelopes seriously starts to add up over time. Since I use so much of it, I decided it was high time I learned how to make my own.
Stop buying the overpriced, chemical additives in those little envelopes of Taco seasoning mixes at the supermarket. When you see how easy it is to make your own, at a fraction of the cost, you will be slapping yourself for not making your own mix sooner!
Gather together all the ingredients and place them in an airtight container that you can use to store your seasoning mix.
Combine all ingredients.
Shake to combine ingredients.
Store seasoning mix in an air tight container for up to 6 months.
Use the seasoning in all your favorite Mexican dishes.

Equipment
- Air tight jar
Ingredients
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 2 tbsp California chili pepper
- 2 tbsp red Chili powder
- 1½ tbsp Paprika
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Oregano
- ½ tsp Pepper
- ¼ tsp Cayenne pepper, optional
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and store in an air tight container for up to 6 months.
- Use in all you favorite Mexican dishes.
