Crab Quiche Bites, A Scrumptious, Easy To Make Appetizer

My favorite part oof celebrating the new year? Putting out a spread of appetizers and grazing all night long. With appetizers you aren’t committed to just one fabulous plate of food. They are small enough that you can sample many, many wonderful different bites of food!

These little bites are truly scrumptious!

I had a package of imitation crab sitting in the fridge that needed to be used so I decided to give these little morsels a try. They got a double thumbs up from everyone!

Get the oven going, preheat oven to 350°.

Spray a mini muffin tin generously with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.

Chop crab meat and green onions and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl whisk together the 2 eggs until frothy.

Add the milk, mayo, sriracha sauce, salt, and flour. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

Add crab meat, green onions and shredded Swiss cheese.

Stir until combined.

Use a scoop and fill each muffin cup with the quiche mixture.

Bake for 30-35 minutes until cooked through and lightly browned along the edges.

Allow bites to cool for 5 minutes before removing them from the muffin tin.

Serve warm or at room temperature.

Oh my goodness, are these good! You will be hard pressed not to devour an embarrassingly large number of them! LOL! These are the perfect New Year’s appetizer but they are so delicious and easy to make, you could make them anytime you get a craving for them!

A huge shout out to Amy at Bellyfull.com for the inspiration for this delicious appetizer. Be sure to check out her website for more delicious recipes! She is a fellow foodie and her blog is packed full of fantastic recipes!

This recipe can also be baked up in a 9 inch pie pan as a crustless quiche. Serve with a crisp green salad to make it a light supper and round out the meal.

Wondering what to do with the extra crab meat? Use it to make this delicious hot appetizer, Christina’s Cream Cheese Fried Wontons. It’s another family favorite that you are sure to enjoy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
