The leaves are sporting their fall colors and the evenings are getting cooler. There’s a crispness in the air that will soon have us reaching for sweaters and blankets to keep warm. It’s also that time of year again when the whole world loses its ever loving mind over everything pumpkin spice; flavored coffees, latte’s, teas, cookies, cakes, candies, air fresheners…and the list goes on and on and on. I have nothing against pumpkin spice, I actually quite like it, but I don’t think apple cinnamon gets its fair share of attention.
Jump to RecipeThis moist and tender Cinnamon Apple Bread is loaded with cinnamon goodness that will have you eating more than one slice at each sitting. Don’t tell me you weren’t warned! This loaf is a lovely dessert but it’s also a fabulous light breakfast with a freshly brewed steaming hot cup of coffee. Coffee perfectly compliments this delicious loaf of sweet bread. Let’s make some Cinnamon Apple loaves!
Start by preheating your oven to 325ā and spray two loaf pans generously with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
TIP: Open your dishwasher and place pans on the inside of the door. Any overspray from the non-stick cooking spray stays in the dishwasher and will get washed away the next time you run the dishwasher. No more overspray all over your countertops; saving you valuable clean up time.
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and ground cloves in the bowl of a stand mixer.
Stir to combine all the dry ingredients together.
Add vegetable oil, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix to combine all the ingredients.
Add cranberries or raisins, nuts, and chopped apples.
Stir to combine all the ingredients together.
Divide batter evenly into the two prepared loaf pans.
Bake for 80-90 minutes. Loaves are done when a toothpick inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
Remove loaves from the oven and allow them to cool completely before slicing them.
Store loaves, covered lightly, in the refrigerator.
Bake up a couple loaves and give one to a friend or a neighbor to enjoy. These loaves use simple everyday ingredients you probably always have on hand making it easy to bake them up anytime you need a sweet treat. Before you jump head long into pumpkin spice nirvana, give this Apple Cinnamon Bread a try. You won’t regret it, I promise!

Remember…Jesus ā¤ļø’s you!
